NEW! This endeavor is born of my surface design background, combined with the experience of recent commissions for outdoor mural panels. Painted Portals allow anyone to have a large piece, framed by trim, in their home. A bedroom closet, pantry doors (pictured), hall closet door, or even a garden gate! I get to paint big, in colors that compliment your home’s decor, in my studio, and the completed piece is installed when complete. I’m currently designing a line of Oregon wild flowers.
These Trilliums are the first, painted for my own home.

My studio was already set up for painting the mural panels I’d completed in the fall. With the opportunity to paint my own pantry doors, the idea for Painted Portals was born! I knew I wanted Trilliums, as I’ve been endlessly delighted with them for years. I used the blue and cream wall colors of my home, and combined some warm golds and greens. The result is an easy fit in my new dining area. I’m excited to paint more doorways and already have designs started.
